Project SWAP Ver. 2.0
That's right folks, Jeremy and I are @ it again. This time were doing my car. We got a little more fancy this time and I bought a tent so we can't be stopped by all the rain. Got the motor out in about 3.5hrs. yesterday. Woulda been less if we wouldn't have to screw with the power steering for a little bit. Then disconnected the motor and tranny. We'll continue for a little bit today but are taking a break for the World Cup final.
yes sir, everything comes out so much easier the third time around. the $90 dollar Wal-Mart tent has to be the coolest thing ever...
sorry we dont have as many cool pics but the first time i made sure i label EVERYTHING and took notes w/pics. this time its like riding a bike!!
i borrowed his motor mounts the other day when i did my swap, scott said he shipped them out UPSP on thursday, so that will be the only thing we are waiting on.
who would have thought that four tiny one inch bolts hold the whole drivetrain on the autos... ?? we will take a pic of them for those who havent seen them

Got a lot done today even though we took a break to watch the World Cup Final. Tranny and lines are on the built motor. Swapped the wiring harness, starter, lower intake, and coolant hoses. Tommorrow were gonna time the built motor and put all the accessories on the front along with the timing cover. Jeremy has some pics.
Motor and tranny are in started putting everything back together yesterday. Core support and radiator are back on as well, just to dark for pics. Might get to start it up today. I'm sure Jeremy has some great pics as well.
hey, this project is a lot more work due to having to swap everything motor to motor, but still a learning experience though. i wish i would have done Matts motor first cause i would have painted my valve covers (will be coming back out soon) and had both timing covers powdercoated or polished.
looks sooo much better than my dirty ole block...
