Probably will go FI next fall?.. looking for ideas.
Do you think it'll be worth maybe ordering an slightly built engine, turbo kit and driving down somewhere to the US (near the north west/north central US?) to get the kit and some other goodies installed and tuned? Could that possibly be done if I order everything before hand and have it completed in a reasonable amount of time? (couple weeks?)
I'm thinking the amount I'd save by avoiding the horrible mark ups Canadian part dealers enjoy would make the trip/stay worth it.
I'm not sure I trust anyone from where I am to safely install/tune everything. (Edmonton Alberta, Canada) I'd probably do this next fall after I get some bills paid off... :P
Any suggestions of any good/cool shops/people in the north west or north central US that could do that?
Please don't flame me.
