Another Superb Tune by Sam at GT Motorsports: Done at Forged Performance
All I can say is Thank You Sam.
My car is finally running like it should after spending an *** load of money.
Sam knows his chit and is very thorough. He doesn’t stop until the job is complete and is 100% perfect. He worked on my car for over 12 hours and this was after only getting 2 hours of sleep as he had worked on another car the whole night before.
When I contacted Sam about tuning my car he asked some questions about my set up. The only thing he was really concerned about with my set up was my RC injectors. He advised me that from his experience the RC injectors spray pattern was not that great. He explained that at WOT they get the job done, but when idling they are pretty much all over the place and he recommended switching the RC’s to Denso injectors. At first I hesitated about buying new injectors, but since my idle with the RC’s was so horrible and inconsistent, I decided to switch them.
When I was running the RC injectors my air fuel ratios were off on each bank by as much as 1.5 points from each other. With the new injectors both banks read almost identical. So needless to say I am happy with them. The money was well spent because now my $70K plus G doesn’t sound like a heap of horse chit at idle! The idle is rock solid. A/C on or off! For those of you that can afford them I would recommend these injectors. They cost twice as much as the RC’s, but if you want your car running as close to OEM drivability it’s worth the money.
Here are the numbers done on Dyno Dynamics dyno. NO CORRECTION FACTOR ADDED. These are the true numbers......510whp & 490 ft/lb tq. As soon as I get a chance I am going to redyno on Dyno Jet for comparison. Boost pressure was just a tick over 15 psi and hitting 16 psi for a brief second around 4500 RPMS. As you can see I am hitting full boost at 4000 RPMS. When Sam initially started tuning with the boost controller off I hit full boost of 5.5psi (greddy stock waste gates springs) at 3000 RPMS. As he turned up the boost full boost comes on later. NOT BAD FOR ANCIENT **** TURBOS WITH NO BALL BEARINGS.

I also want to thank Sharif for assisting in the tuning process. You’re a great guy. Not only are you a standup business man, but a good person in general. I had fun hanging out in your shop. The shop looks great and soon enough your never going to go home because of the business that's going to be going in and out of your shop. You better start buidling an apt in the back.

18g's with SGP's custom dumps, 3" tp's, and 3" exhaust. The dumps really help the spool time on the greddy kit.

Thanks for coming Jorge, and it was great have you, Todd, Mike, and Sam all in the same facility.
Now please mop up the mess your open-dump tubes made on my once shiny floor.

That would be one big *** re: notice the marks are wider than my tire which is a 285.

Also mjedens car is up next on the dyno. They are just finishing up the Aquamist install.
What's up with your build? You need to get your car running again! I am sure you are having boost withdrawal.

Definitely, it's really killing me!
Unexpected life expenses have come up so it will be a while longer before I can begin the build adventure. Just in the shopping/comparing/learning mode right now, unfortunately.
Ask Sam when he'll be back in the shop in Cali for me while he's there. I'll need a tune soon as they fix up my supercharger which is going to the shop today.
