Default all turbo Z owners (help cleaning engine)

i was just wondering wut all you guys with turbos use to clean your engine bay's with, i know this sounds like a dumb question but i dont want to use a hose and dump a bunch of water into my engine with the risk of water getting in the BOV, and i also dont know if the water will effect the turbo's or n e of the piping, thnx guys n e help would be great

Hmmm. I used to have a 95 3000GT TT, I just took it to the dealer and had them steam clean it, I swear, it looked like off the factory line clean.....thinking that would be the best way to go, if you want your ish all shiny, put some tire shine on a rag and wiper around under the hood, shouldnt hurt....

no prob, your dealer might hook you up the first time, but if not its only like $40 and your engine will look better then new...cant wait to see pics.

I use "gunk" foamy engine brite, just spray it all over the motor when the car is cool, and hose it off...as long as your BOV isn't "operating" it's sealed, so water can't get in. If your intake filter(s) is/are exposed, put plastic bags over it/them with a rubber band to keep the water out. I've done it 10+ time with no issues.
