I understand the p300 codes the TN throws, but....
This morning, I was driving the car over to get the a/c repaired (another story alltogether), anyway, I had to merge into traffic, so since my car was recently tuned by Sharif (awesome tune), I punched it hard, the car didn't hesitant or anything, but the SES light which has stayed on since the tune, began to flash.
I know when you get these cars where they are running under 11:1 a/f ratio, the codes are more apt to come on, but I have never seen my SES light flash, then just stay on, should I be concerned at all? The car is otherwise perfect, boost is right on, egt is good, a/f's are about 10.6-10.8 under WOT.
Thanks in advance.
Craig

The turbonetics kit doesn't thow p300 codes. Other issues do.
I wouldn't say it's a perfect tune if you're running 10.6-10.8:1 AFR's at WOT? I'm wondering how you're running 400whp if so.
Perhaps you should check to see if you've fouled plugs.

i get P300 codes all the time, i thought it meant i was going too fast...
ill have to look into that
seems a little rich but safer...
actually at work we had a meeting that said "safety is the key!!!"
so i am running 8 peak timing with 9 to 1 AFR now the whole time..

I really wish there was a UTEC tuning class I could take to do this **** on my own!!!

I had a injector wire harness clip for # 2 cyl. not pushed down all the way . Cyl would misfire off and on . Only got the P0300 code and it would blink ten times off and on also
I have gotten the P300 code. The definition is multiple cylinder misfire. Mine was being caused by my water/meth kit injecting too much water. I fixed the problem and replaced my plugs and have not had the problem since.

Gonna have to get a code reader one of these days.
So I say Craig, if it continues then def. something that needs to be checked out ASAP. Though if is does not happen again, I wouldn't be to concerned.

i did a search for cel light codes, didnt find chit, i just picked up my car from JOTECH, i had a cel light on, my car was running way to ric, because it ran to rich, it threw a cel light and made it run more rich, i had a 10.0 Af at idle when i threw a code, i did a new retune, actually just a basic upgrade for 145.00 and im back in the game

Sometimes it goes away for a day or so, but then comes back... In all that time, only once did the SES actually blink on and off... I called MIAPLAYA exactly when it happened, he explained that it could have been misfiring in a specific cyl or mutliple cyl... I can't really remember what exactly he said, other than I should really be worried it it keeps happening, and it has never happened again since then so IDK.

P0300 - P0306 are caused by any of the following events:
Improper spark plug
Insufficient compression
Incorrect fuel pressure
The injector cicuit is open or shorted
Fuel injector
Intake air leak
The ignition signal circuit is open shorted
Lack of fuel
Signal plate
Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1
Incorrect PCV hose connection
There are 7 pages in the FSM dedicated to troubleshooting this code. You need access to the Consult-II system. Good luck on that one
My best advice: Be sure you have a proper fuel system setup, your tune is perfect and your plugs are good.

Oh well, I don't believe I will worry about it unless it flashes again. I am supposed to go back to Forged on the 12th anyway, I will ask Sharif if he minds taking a look then.
