Default VQ35 Speed Force Racing Twin Turbos, anyone has it on?

Hi everyone. .
I am new to your site..just peeking here from the FX site.
I am trying to get a custom turbo kit done for FX and looking around for turbos offering low rpm spool and continue throughout the rpm range. And best bet was 350Z kits since our engines are same .. (need to throw away this damn power eating transmission on the FX though)
Does anyone have the Speedforce racing kits on and are you happy with the HP and reliability.. claim of 550whp and above.. still reliable?
I am open to comments throughout..
Thanks
Hakan

Of course people have these kits. Go search in the Forced Induction section of the forums for tons of info, thoughts, even vids of the kit.

Hahahahaha, LOL

Gotta love those (VRT built) "Monster FX's" Especially the fully built motor, JWT TT'ed one that we did for rookie, the thing is awesome.

Not to go away from the original topic too much.

VRT built motor 9:1 pistons, Pauter rods, S2 cams. Not totally done with the set up so haven't done a final tune. Haven't posted here cause to be absolutely honest, I love this forum for the info but it can be pretty brutal at times.

Just got some new wheels.

On topic if any of the SFR kit owners can chime in to help him? With the JWT kit being installed by authorized dealers only it makes it hard for him to get it over seas.

Yep .. no joking.. was going to go with Stillen SC 4 but than at speeds over 130 miles .. I heard belts had problems so wanna go with a twin turbo..
Looking to go into the 500 hp range.. have talked to a few custom makers including JWT, speedforceracing etc.. . and yes tranny needs to be completely rebuilt..
Wanted to get your thoughts on the kits.. for FX intercooler, plumbing needs to be done so it kinda gets into custom but not totally..
SpeedForce uses large turbos capable of high hp, where as JWT uses smaller ones but application of it outside the US is not permitted I guess..
And Rookie, is the one who started all this mess I was going with my NA mods.. may be SC stage 4 but than Rookier comes along with a nice Turbo set up.. now I want one

I love the 350Z but resale value here is very bad in europe for some reason. love the looks of the FX.. so trying to make it a monster..
open to all thoughts and ideas..

The intercooler on this FX is the standard Z intercooler suplied with the JWT TT kit. Plumbing did not seem to be a big issue. The final tune has not been done on rookies FX, cause we are still playing with tranny options, etc. The motor is the same build we do on all the VRT built VQ motors. Motor should make 550-700 BHP at 11-14 psi.

For 500hp range you're going to need a built motor no matter what kit you run. There's a LOT of info here you just need to search for it. As far as the intercoolers this set is from a 350Z kit, some of the plumbing is from a G35 kit.

Hakan,

This is the same system we have been talking about for months. JWT now has part numbers for the FX kit...All Good.
Our system for the FX is perfect and proven. The Tranny upgrades are necessary though if you want reliability, heavy and stressful..

NOTE: We are working on another FX as we speak. Here are some Picts for Min's (clients) car. MOTOR BUILD - Wa2good means the motor is great for 550-700 WHP yet the tranny on an FX is an obstacle - will never handle that huge of power. The FX is very heavy. A VERY solid 400-500 WHP in a BUILT MOTOR FX is awesome. Ask ROOKIE!

HAKAN...READY WHEN YOU ARE...

M

Hi Michael
How are you..
Looks great.. and lovely. .
Rebuilding the motor. . pistons rods bolts cam all the works or just pillars and bolts.. can we change pistons and rods without changing the displacement?
My issue is being away unfortunately.
I need to get it installed here. need to find a way to do this in a reasonable cost

Keep in my you're AWD, the location of the turbos on the SFR may or may not have clearance issues with the transfer case. I'll help in anyway I can, don't just buy any kit someone tells you will fit.
