Default Whats wrong with this install??

This car was brough to us by a customer who had this kit installed in a performance shop in Clifton NJ and never got it to run correctly...Well let me start off by saying this install was outragous..Looks like someone who never worked on a car before did this job.We basically need to go over the netire kit. The MAF tube was installed backwards, first of all, and the piping was routed wrong and cut and joined with "FERNCO" fitting..For those of you not familiar with construction work, a FRENCO fitting is used in houshold plummig to join pipes. It is made of flimys rubber and would never hold boost or the heat under the hood.
This is the 2nd time we have seen this same type of fitting used on a car out of the same shop. For those of you paying big $$$$ to get these turbo kits installed, dont be cheap and go right for the cheapest guy around, this is what happens. He will wind up paying almost 2 times the average install rate when its all said and done as a result of going to the cheaper shop, with ZERO experience..
It is sad to see this type of work being passed off to the consumer, and it actually makes me mad that shops like this exist..They actually cut and joined some of the greddy piping together in ways never before imagined, now we will have to replace about 20% of the greddy piping as well..We honestly can not wait to see the mess they made of the Emanage wiring.
With work out there like this, buyers BEWARE!!.:

wow...just shows what total frustration can force a mechanic to do. I am sure he was like "there is no way this intercooler pipe will fit as Greddy intended"....so I will run my own pipe.

it just amazes me the level of crap out there, and people pay for it. One reason I do most of the stuff myself, it helps I have quite the tool collection that makes it easier. just wow, good luck getting that rats nest back in working order!!!
