I never thought I would blow my motor either with 410 rwhp! Snapped a connecting rod. Don't think it won't happen to you. Tuned by sharif as well. Took the motor apart and no sign of detonation. Not Sharif's fault. Sh+tty connecting rods. Just make sure you have a cell phone with you so you can call a tow truck when the rod pops. If you drive it like you should one of the rods will jump ship.
Very true...and when it does happen you'll probably end up needing a new block when you stick a rod through the side of the block and probably end up needing some head work done. I wish I would have built my engine first before ever going FI

Eaglegreen is already on the board for next weekend.

Joe and I talked a lot about the tune. He is well aware, that these engines cannot make unlimited power...even with a PERFECT tune. But he seems happy with everything, and since he only beats on the car a few times a week, my hope is that everything will take together. I also advised him to shift at 6200rpm or so....as interial loads are really what can tear these rods apart.

I always try to gauge each customer's expectations seperately, and meet their goals. Some customers are looking for max power, and I can meet those needs. Others are on a tighter budget, and want absolutely supereme safety..I can do that too.

That dyno is with the 1.13 correction right? Otherwise your car is making over 515 on the stock motor..

Nope, as mentioned, and as I've posted in a bunch of otherthreads, we arent using any additional correction at all....we abandoned that practice as it created way too much confusion and controversy. Just standard atmospheric correction. He cars is probably making 500whp, give or take...on a DynoJet.

I gotta nitpick. The wheels look like they need spacers and I love the bumper but those side skirts look...not so good. USDM < JDM nismo sideskirts. I mean that side view...it looks like they dont even fit....totally ruin the lines. I'm so sorry but I had to say it The INGS+ sides would look great with that bumper.

Thanks for the feed back on the looks of the car... Everyone has their opinions, but then again everyone has an... Anyway...

I am going to be switching the wheels for Volk GT-S gunmetal at the end of the month. I only have a 10"wide wheel out back right now and need a 10.5" o fit the wider tires that I need with this new found power. I would like to see if I can fit 305s in the rear like Sharif did, guess I should only have to roll my fenders to get them to fit.

I am not going to push it any further on the power, and will probably add the water/meth kit for insurance, until the built engine is ready to go in this winter (unless my luck runs out early)...

So if anyone takes me down at Forged for the Stock Block record pump gas I will let them have it.

Going to the track tomorrow, if it does not rain... We will see what I can do with the tires I have. 275/35/19 Bridgestone RE050As... Not the best for drag, just great on the street.

I would love to find a 17" wheel that will fit over these Wilwoods so I can get some ET Streets, but I have not had much luck...

I know hes excited he got his car back as anybody would, he keeps saying he holds the record, stock block, and somebody should try to beat him etc etc. Thought I was on a Supra forum for a sec...Id love to see some dynojet #'s as he for sure has one very strong well tuned Z. I hope the OP didnt take offense to my dyno comment, I didnt intend it to insult.

None taken Alberto! When it comes right down to it, dyno numbers don't really mean that much, just fun to hype them up a little for the boards.

ETs, trap speeds, lap times, street races, etc is what matters at the end of the day!
