Project Built TT G35 by Speed Force Racing
Well folks… The build is nearing completion and now it is time to tell the story:
It started in mid July with delivery of the car to Speed Force Racing in San Diego, CA. I chose SFR to build my car for many different reasons but most importantly; it was their experience, tuning capabilities, fabrication and customization capabilities and overall performance history with other customers. I chose the SFR TT kit because of the monster power potential it holds. My goal is to have 600+ whp at my whim (press of a button to high boost) but also have a tamable street car on low boost which should still produce about 500 whp.

(304SS ex. Manifolds, 304SS downpipes, Spearco FMIC, Tial 38mm wastegates, HKS SSQ BOV, FTC1 Split Second, 60-1 Tnetics Turbos, alumanum intake and intercooler piping, oil feed and return lines, Mocal scavenge pump and oil collection sump, K&N air filters)

Port and polish cylinder heads, full radius valve cut
Arias Pistons 8.6:1 Compression
Pauter Rods

Cometic Headgasket
ARP headstud/mainstud kit
720cc Inj., Walboro pump and SX reg, stainless lines
HKS 3" Carbon Ti Duel Exhaust
Oil catch-can, Oil cooler, Oil pan spacer
Koyo Radiator (Custom fitment)
Ceramic thermal coat piping/headers/downpipe/hotsides/dumptubes
AEM Uego wideband A/F
SPA Boost/EGT - Oil Pressure/Water Temp Gauges
Greddy Profec E-01 Boost Controller
Brembo 14" Rotors - 4 Piston Calipers Big Brake Kit
Technosquare L-Spec ECU Reflash (Rev limit to 7100 and remove speed limit)
Rogue Engineering short shifter

JWT lightned flywheel/clutch

This is the built motor assembled with Intake Manifold (Back)

Ceramic coated headers bolted on
One the subject of gauge/controller placement, I wanted a fairly seamless integration. I am not a fan of the A-Pillar so this turned into a custom dash kit project. I am extremely happy how it’s turning out. I had to yank the OEM Nav unit to get to the desired outcome so I now have a nav unit for sale!! (dirt cheap :0)

Greddy e-01 Boost Controller
The gauges will be placed in a custom housing that Tim made from scratch in like 2 seconds . This is the general idea and still requires some modifications to get it to integrate nicely. Once modified, I will have the two SPA gauges in a row with the AF Gauge in between the two SPA gauges. The end result with be a custom housing that matches the brushed steel oem dash. It will look fantastic!
The Radiator also required some custom fitment engineering in the form of attaching brackets to the top, allowing for it to screw into the oem holes.
These are some nude photos of the car’s undercarriage. Sexy!!! Check out the turbo placement and coated piping. Hot!!
I gotta say… this whole experience has been awesome. From the planning phase, the fun part! To seeing the Invoice, the not so fun part; however, Speed Force Racing really bent over backwards to get me more than I ever could have expected with my budget in mind. A+ for customer service and application of product SFR!!!
We expect the car to be ready by the 19th. When all is said and done, this should be one of the first Rev-Ups pushing 600+ whp. I will need to put ~2000 miles on it then I go back for retune and dyno. Between then, it’s gunna be a wild ride.
Check back in a few weeks for the dyno and full review!

Nice build! Looks like you went all out and it looks like it will be one hell of a clean and mean setup. Post more pics when its done and don't forget some video footage.

That plenum looks insane, so are you running dual throttle bodies?
May I strongly suggest that you not run an AEM wideband, but an Innovate instead (able to recalibrate at will- unlike the AEM that loses its precision after approx 1000miles )

Hot. Did you add that rear pipe on the intake manifold just to balance the look of it? If so, nice touch, it would look kind of funky without it, cant wait for vids!

suspension will be next, JIC... and I am going with 275 tires in the rear until I get new wheels (HRE C22) at which point I will be running 305 tires in rear...

Thanks Todd... Actually, I am going with the Innovate... That list was not updated since I made that change recently. At this point, I'm doing nothing with the throttle body. I am not sure where I am going next with the car. I am just going to play it by ear once I get the car back and see what makes sense.

The Intake Manifold is an SFR creation. I'm sure that rear pipe is there for performance/air-flow reasons but Tim will have to answer that one.

Suspension and tires come first, roll-cage next. Hopefully sooner than later.
