I also wanted to keep the clock/AC readouts in tact, so I didn't want to mount that high up on the dash...
My original idea was to gut the nav screen and place the gauges inside the nav screen housing, keeping the motorized stow capabilities. This was not possible because of depth limitations...
Your car is sick btw...

Very nice setup man... You definitely put a lot of time and effort into the appropriate parts necessary for reliability, performance and looks.
I am sure you can't wait until it is done and on the road.. I know waiting for mine is driving me nutz, but we are almost there…

The tube on the back of the plenum is a balance tube to equalize the airflow of each plenum. It is there for functionality first and looks second. We ended up using a mandrel bent tube to give it a more symetrical look since the plenums are offset from each other.
No one even said anything about the headers....sob..... sob......The gauge panel was something I made real quick to give Matt an idea of what we were thinking. We were going to do something similiar to the one on the G picture in this thread(which is way cool except we were going to do it where this new gauge panel resides now).Give it a little bit of the Z flavor. All out of aluminum too.No glass here. But Matt didnt want to go that route so we went with this instead.Matt also got the dual 3" Carbon Ti exhaust and all sorts of other cool stuff like a Koyo radiator that bolts right into a G(we made a jig if anyone wants a direct bolt-on Koyo). We also adapted some Spal fans and we even have an aluminum fan shroud for the twin fans.Matt did not want the shroud though but I am trying to convince him to get it.

Headers look good. EL and decent turbo placement. So good I thought they were from another turbo kit? JWT? Only thing i can knock would be wastegate placment (angle off the collector) but i suppose that consequential of space restrictions.
^^ That kit is made completely by Tim.... No other Z/G TT kit uses the SS headers! I love those things!
, ... i think they may be part of my "special" kit once I get back to the land of the living!!
And how is the wastegate placement any worse than Any TT kit out right now??

The wastegate placement is almost optimal. Ideally the wastegate should be installed right near the turbo inlet so that both the wastegate and turbo inlet have the exhaust entering at the same time. This would be optimal. However, there is not enough room.
