Default The limits of a stock clutch

For those of you who smoked your stock clutch before going aftermarket because of FI, what HP numbers were you hitting before it started slipping? I'm seeing numbers in the 400 range. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Generally, if you're going into the 400+ range, you should seriously think about swapping out the stock unit. I've even seen a lot of NA guys changing out their clutches, so it's a safe bet that if you're going FI, you should put it on the list.

There is a thread here which gives you the exact tq. number it can handle. Many ppl go on their stock clutch for a bit until it gives out, imo.. just do it when you get the turbo on.
