I was looking into getting one and i saw the price i was like damn its only a can a some hose line. My question is would it make a diffrence if i got a brand name one like greddy arc ect. or would this cheapo work just as good? I could save 50 bucks and get is one that Megan makes. leave me with more money to get turbo timer and heat wrap.

 

that one actually looks better then the greddy one. i wish the greddy one had a way to get into it like that one does where you can take the top off

 

Some will say yes, some will say no. Many believe a baffled (more $$) catch can is the way to go(like the ARC CC), especially boosted, others simply take a $20 ebay/jegs/home made Home Depot CC and put in steel whool to act as a "baffle". At the end of the day IMO get one you like the looks of/fits with your FI kit

best catchcan: empty coke can.

when it's full toss it out! no need to clean! (asthetics: spray paint it black!)

 

how do you connect the hoses to the coke can???

 

why do you need a catch can? can't you just use breathers on the valve covers? and cap off the nipples on the manifold and intake tube?
