APS twin turbo kit
Hi,
I am a Z driver from Belgium and I want to tune my car. Engine bay. I want to buy an APS twin turbo kit
. I have been told that this turbo kit can put out 420horsepower on the wheels (540hp on the engine). And they say without changes in the motor. Is this true? And can the motor handle the power? Wont it blow up after a year? Its for drag racing.
Regards
ps: sorry for my english

go to the forced induction (FI) forum, it's all about turbos and such. read and search all about the different systems, but if you are sold on APS, make sure they have an authorized dealer/installer in your area.
Yes, make sure you get a tuner in your area who knows what they're doing. F/I means "forced induction", like turbochargers or superchargers which force air into your car. 420whp sounds about right; it all depends on how you tune it as well.

Can anyone give me some details on how much hp a stock engine can handle without blowing up.

If you run the "out-of-the-box" tune on the unichip (which is the piggy back engine management), ... you should be fine. You just have to Make Sure that the tune on the unichip is appropriate for the gas you will be using where you live...
