Default Another problem with Turbonetics kit in rain!

Alright..
I was taking a 2 hour trip yesterday. It was raining hard on that day.
Anyways, I was a 6th gear going around 75 mph and I went
WOT in 6th gear and boost started to build. All the sudden, I
feel a big jerk and it felt pretty much like fuel cut. My engine
did not die, but acc. pedal would not work and would
not rev until I changed gears. I pulled over and checked for any
leaks under the car but I found none. My idle AFRs were at 10
and it was very lumpy. It seemed like the ECU was trying
to keep the idle at 1100rpms and when I would give it a
little gas, it would drop down to around 300 almost making my engine
die. After few minutes of turning off the car, it went back to normal and
I did not get into boost after that. I tried getting into boost again today since there was no rain and it happened again! I was wondering what could
cause this.. Right now, I am resetting my ECU but do you guys think I should
try getting into boost again to check if it is normal? Or any idea what could
cause this?? Please help!

Explain why you were boosting at highway speeds in the rain first of all...

VDC kicked in? Who knows.

Nope. VDC did not kick for sure.
I was in sixth gear just trying to pass a truck
cause I couldn't see anything driving behind the damn 18 wheeler.
Any other help?

Maybe you sucked some water into the MAF.

MAF in the water is probably right.
Should I clean the MAF?
I was thinking the same thing because I have an aftermarket
front bumper (Karuma) and the air filter is pretty much wide open...
My car runs fines now, except I still have that idle problem.
I am thinking the bad idle caused by a plenum spacer so I am going
to try switching companes. I also boost to 8psi so I was thinking I
do not have a leak...I also have a check engine light so I am going to
find out what the code is tonight.

I would doubt it is water in the MAF when you consider how much that water would have to travel to get to the MAF, in the intake through the turbo, through the Intercooler then up that long pipe up to the MAF.

Since it was in 6th gear, boost builds really quick in high gears and you might have over boosted enough to exceed the MAF voltage and went into limp mode.
