MIA, any chance Turbonetics will make a TT kit with the new turbos? That would be awesome.

This is one reason why I've been preaching that people have a little patience for a while now. It's worth it to wait and get the complete R&D'd package that Turbonetics will offer.

As it stands right now there are no plans for a TT kit.

SFR could probably adapt their twin 60-1 kit for GTK turbos.

I'm getting my built long block with Tomei 268 cams. It's in the process of building.....hopefully Turbonetics stage 2 will come out pretty soon so i can swap out the 60-1 out at the same time. Can't wait any longer!!!!! I was looking to put in the GT35 which is the same size with the 60-1??

There is no point in putting a GT35 in there as you are correct it has roughly the same exact max flow as the 60-1

The Stage 1 kits MAY get some changes but they will be minimal if any. No Stage 1 kit as of right now will include a GTK turbo. It would be strictly for Stage 2 kits. Again that is right now. Things may change later but that the current word. There aren't many stock motor cars out there that could even take advantage of the true potential of the GTK turbos.

so the GTKs won't be smaller or mid-size frame turbos eh? Kinda filling the gap where the GT turbos kinda leave it sparse, between the GT40 and GT42 type thing?

Well there will be an entire line of GTK turbos to cover the power band range.

After SEMA. The server hosting the pics is down for some reason. I'll get it back up ASAP.

Cheers Amy -
Why would you ask that question? Please don't thread crap. You know more than enough about turbos/etc to fully understand that a more efficient turbo would have no effect on CARB.

there will be miniature men inside the center section that will help spool the shaft early and on-throttle response for a better powerband.

they were at PRI last year (turbonetics) showing off some cool stuff, so I'll assume they'll be there this year as PRI is a pretty hardcore racing/motorsports convention.
