Side wall too tall. Remember this car used is a Road Race car, eveything is stiff and slammed so the tires wouldn't fit. Thanks Again.

All in the works. Appreciate the comments for sure. We will see what happens. We are concentrating on various Cooling Systems that can benefit these pro-cars as well as to benefit our Customer Cars. The absolute biggest concern in building awesome Pro Drift and/or Race Cars is not making the power, that is easy, it is keeping them cool after beating on them Lap after Lap after Lap even in the most extreme Weather 100+ degree conditions.
Going to be fun.

my point was that you used r compounds on the front, that were alot wider than the street spec tire in the rear, and were said the car was twitchy, thus my "i wonder why" comment...

They didn't have anymore tires at all that would fit, we had tires on other rims yet they were really critical about how the cars looked so that is why we stuck with the Black rims, even though front were flat black and rears were gloss black with red stripe.
LOL
Simple: We were told to wait and see if the car was picked, Falken had the rims at 10 AM, the car was chosen at 5:30 PM, and show-time was at 6 PM.
Lack of time and Falken simply ran out.
No big deal, we were grateful to just be involved. We will come prepared prior to the event next time.
PLEASE note: We only had a total of 2 days to Find the cars, prepare the cars, and get them to the event. We were scrambling the whole way.
ALL GOOD: The Event Was a Huge Success and We hope to be involved again soon.

Very fun video and pictures. Thanks Mike!
BTW, I had lunch with Dave Burns on Thursday just before the NASCAR run at Cal Speedway that weekend. Mentioned to him the upcoming Irwindale drifting fun with a couple of the drivers to see if it would peak his interest in maybe doing a little story on ESPN or the other channels that he works for/with that might broaden further the motorsports interest in the whole import tuner crowd and their move into the mainstream....and the NASCAR drivers move towards the tuner crowd. Interesting conversation. Hopefully he will look at the vid (I sent him the link yesterday) and get the itch. One can only try.
