Ok heres some more info i left out:

I recently changed BOVs to try a diffrent sound, then the problem started so I switched back to my Greddy Type RS. While I did this i disconntected the MAF plug and pluged it back in. Didnt take out the sesnsor just the plug.

This also happens under quick stabs to the throttle not just fast shifting.

Im going to try the 100 octane this weekend, if that doesnt work im going to switch MAF sensor with my 350Z.

Its on there pretty tight, would a boost leak cause this? maybe the gasket is bad?

for what its worth didnt have these problems before i changed the BOV

if that's the case, why not start there? basic problem solving would lead you to think it was the change of BOV that caused the issue

This is why I changed it BACK to my orignial Greddy RS BOV, thought it would fix the issue but now still the same, Maybe i should change the gasket?

what happened to the out of box BOV? this is definitely related to changing out the BOV from what I am reading. Change the gasket, check for a leak, adjust the BOV

Didnt like the sound anyways plus the issue gave me more reason to go back, I do have a extra gasket so i think ill change that, Could boost leaks create this issue, I create full boost and hold it pretty efficiently so there doesnt seem to be a leak.

You could also try a reset of the ECU. The ECU may be pulling timing or adding fuel.

When you unplugged the MAF you might have upset things, but that's only likely if the ignition power was on, at least I see no way it could be an issue when off. still, I wouldn't rule that (MAF issues) out. Check the connector/plug, make sure you didn't damage a pin or get dirt in there or it's not loose.

Ignition was off as I was changing the BOV, I will double check conectors and go from there, I think my car runs too rich and the plugs are fouled anyways I am going to change them out and add the HKS DLI II system see if it fixes the problem.

The HKS DLI is not going to fix it..You need to diagnose the problem first, before adding more confusion to the mess..Basic problem solving would say to strart at the last thing you did, when the car worked properly. Dont add more problems before finding the original problem, thats playing blind and adding more crap that could lbe part of the problem..I still say put some 100 octane and see what it does, after fixing the BOV issue..

Checked for any vaccum leats with the BOV, there are none, problem is intermintent doesnt always happen at the same RPM range, car feels slower as well. I wasnt going to try to fix it with the DLI but with changing the plugs, and i was just going to add the DLI while i was at it.

Im going to add some 100 octane first and see what happens.

Thanks guys for all the help!

hey george that happened to me before. Felt exactly like hitting the rev limiter once i hit boost. Turns out the vacuum line that goes from the wastegate to the turbo had disconected.

Maybe thats your problem?

My problem is 4000 rpm ~ 5000 rpm betwen shifting (some thing fulling back)

1> Cam sensor - check
2> all Vacum line - check
3> all Turbo Line - check
4> check gasket
5> Replace MAF sensor

I had my stock map reinstalled it didn't help either. I wonder if it is the unichip or the harness. How many miles do you have on the kit? When did you buy it?
