Default few questions about the APS

Hey everyone,
Just wondering if some of you might be able to help me with a few questions I'm having. Currently I'm looking at going FI with my Z. The question I have is, I want to make around 800rwhp on full boost, on a completely built engine with the boost jacked up would the APS Twin Turbo Kit be able to put down 800rwhp? Or would you recommend just going with the new APS Extreme Kit? Thank you for all your help!

Definitely go with the APS Extreme Kit. The standard kit is only good for about 680whp and you'd be wasting money on the fuel system, injectors, and unichip which would all need to be upgraded.

That's why APS has a TT tuner kit. In my opinion, the APS Extreme kit is extreme overkill unless you're going for an all out drag prepped Z...

From what I understand, people are making over 700whp on the basic APS turbos with upgraded actuators/fuel system/ems.

I would recommend the APS Extreme Kit as it does include the larger turbos, fuel for 800 horsepower, larger intercooler, and I believe larger downpipes.

I'm just curious, what your goals are with that 800WHP?

Unless you drive around at WOT throttle all the time, I don't see why it wouldn't be streetable. Limit boost on the street and crank it up on the track.

I guess I just wanted to understand why the OP has an 800WHP goal (as opposed to 400 or 500) so I can gauge whether or not the OP also understands that controlling that amount of power will require quite a bit more than just planning the appropriate turbo kit (i.e. tires, camber, axles, potential widebody kit to accommodate the huge tires, etc)...

In all seriousness I would not want to drive an 800 whp car as a daily driver but that's what maps are for.
You have let's say a 400whp map for your daily and when you go to the track you flip a switch put on slicks and kick booty.

Another reason to get that type of setup is room for growth and stability
I'm getting a block that can hold that much power so that it won't break as easily on lower settings. The abuse will be less

make sense?

Unfortunately Forge send the wrong springs in the actuators and it's only boosting to 11 psi. They are sending the correct ones to GTM. The car is otherwise up and running and putting down 480whp at 11 psi.
I'm probably going to pick it up in the next few days to break in the block for a week or two and then bring it back, have them replace the springs, finish the tune and then install the dreaded roll bar which is turning out to be a nightmare in itself.
I miss my baby.....
