**I'm BACK** With a Forged Build, Twins, DD vs DJ comparison and more**
Bert - Stealth FMIC, CAI, sways/bushings/springs, Turbo back, reflash (got it Friday, hehe)
Doug - You probably wouldn't lose to my car either. Then again, I only race 1/8 in my new car...j/k. Ha, I thought you were takin' a stab at my Z. You bat rastards should know that I'm real sensitive about the Z, she eventually ran.

[stewie from family guy] maybe a small shot.. eh.. something like that? eh[/stewie from family guy]

Kelly you know I actually talked to a Viper owner down around the Glen Dirty, MD area. He got his panties in a bunch and came back at me with "why would I race a mod'd car against my stock car? My car costs $100K(BS) yours is 30K" So then he tells me "Im stock and with ET Streets I ran 11.6 @ 127mph (new Viper) I guess he thought he'd scare me away, I said ok, I'll def race you now. At this point he starts asking "do you want to race my buddies....?" LMAO-what a douche, needless to say he didnt back up his mouth. We'll set it up! Are you coming to the Mid-A BBQ Kelly?
No rush to get to the track-it may not even be this season, Im enjoying the car as Ive missed it over the summer. Reason Im holding off is because I dont have money for Level 5 axles I want, and its almost certian launching HARD on ET streets at this level something has to give....

Me, I know how it'll end, but it's a race among friends and I'm curious about how close (or not) it would be. And I want to give you the opportunity to see how you fare against something with more than twice the displacement.
As for the BBQ, I wish I could, but I have a family commitment that's an annual thing for us and it just happens to fall on that day. (Boo Zoo at the National Zoo....the kiddo loves it.) If we can't make it happen before it gets too cold, we'll do it for sure in the spring time when our tires aren't hard as hockey pucks and you're not running lean with the cold air.
On that note, how is your car doing in the colder air? You have a WB yes? Are you seeing the car run leaner now that it's getting cold?

Kelly-Hard as hockey pucks, never heard that one
The cold as far as the tune goes is not an issue for me. I used to run the Temperature Compensation on the UTEC with the TN kit-that thing was WAY off, as it would overcompensate at times, and undercompensate at others.
What Sharid did was not use that feature anymore and he tuned me at about 80-90 degree temps and a low 40psi base fuel pressure. As it gets to low 50's I go from low 11's A/F to high 11's. All I do is take 45 seconds pop the hood and adjust the FPR up a few lbs of fuel pressure-more fuel, and the whole map gets richer or leaner if I take some out. I have an Innovate WB on the A-Pillar watching the drivers side cylinders, and my UTEC WB out in view watching the passenger side of things
All it takes is a quick adjustment and a run down the road watching the WB's to dial it in. For the track I plan on throwing some C16 in, and dialing it to 11.9 A/F's and I'll make more power while still being very safe.
Knowing what A/F's to run and making quick adjustments > BS UTEC Temperature Compensation
edit-of course Id run low boost...

SFR manifold on N/A Z. I no longer have that car though, I have an Sti. Matter of fact, that manifold (among other things) went to the dealership with my Z. Who knows who'll buy that car. I think Tim only built less than 10 of those things.

I'd need you and Bert to agree to tie your right hands behind your back to have small chance.
Thanks again for the y pipe!

Did I mention my car is boosting 23lbs again???
