Default Procharger anyone?

Hey, if you're into the supercharger check out Prochargers Centrifugal supercharger, looks & works kinda like a turbo...it just runs off the crank instead of exhaust, bout 4800 for the supercharger, 1600 extra for the Ztune pack (bigger injectors and prochargers tuned ECU) and a grand for install..all that with an exhaust and pulley/belt kit and you'll get over 400 RWHP...prolly 450 at the crank with all of it...for the same price as the TT kit itself (dont forget about install prices people...i dont know about you but for me a twin turbo kit isnt my idea of a weekend project )

Don't confuse the dealer with the warranty...........unless they lie to Nissan and commit fraud on your behalf............why Nissan requires all expensive warranty parts to be ship back or released to trash by Zone management to catch those dealers who abuse their contract.

What does emissions have to do with warranty?

The dealership will void warranty if the mod caused the problem. If you blow your motor with a S/C it will not be covered, simple as that. Will your stereo system still be under warranty if you have a S/C? Of course. How about your shocks? Yep.

Bottom line, most people who post hypotheticals about S/Cs and turbos, or even simple N/A mods, want a problem free car. Believe you me - if you start modding your car EXPECT problems. Will those problems be under warranty? Mostly not, especially if your mods caused the problems.

From what I know parts are described for "highway use" and "off-highway use." Installation of “off-highway” parts may impair your vehicle’s emission control system performance. Any such installation could adversely affect the warranty coverage on such an on-street or highway vehicle.

If you look around you will notice little disclaimers for most off highway use parts about how it can void warranties.

But, it is not true that if your motor blows and you have a supercharger on it that they will void the warranty. The only time this can happen is from improper installation that causes damage to a vehicle system. If a service technician denies your warranty claim ONLY because the car is modified and the vehicle system failure was not a direct result of the installation and use of the product, please refer them to the Magnusson Moss Warranty act.

In fact if I recall ford just lost a case where the manufacture tried to void a warranty because of a supercharger added to the engine, however they could not prove direct proof that the part did the harm to the engine so the guy won the case.

If you will like to read a little more about the warranty stuff then here is a perfect link for you...
