Well, almost - it's too bad I didn't swap out the WIMPY "stock" actuator/springs while Hybrid was addressing my small oil leak issue, we were really only able to get 8PSI - still, I'm EXTREMELY happy with not just the numbers, but the EXCELLENT customer service and the quality of Forged's work! Those guys KNOW their stuff. Over the winter I'll do the springs (and upgrade the exhaust, reluctantly, as I LOVE how it sounds but it just won't support big HP, no big surprise there - MAYBE I can retain the Nismo muffler at least, but I doubt it).

Congrats folk! And did you drive all the way down from NY?

Also the Z is looking hot, and do you have more pics on your cage?

Why is Sharif wearing a sweater? It isn't even cold yet

Another man thought Sharif was NO GOOD tuner j/k. Congrtas on the numbers. I am pretty sure Devon enjoyed bending over that roll cage bar.

Off topic- I'm looking at that picture of him tuning with a laptop, and i'm about to begin doing some tuning myself. What kind of laptop would be a good investment for tuning the UTEC? It'd stay in the car and be used for tuning purposes only so i'm guessing that it wouldn't need much as far as fancy gadgets or capabilities. Any suggestions?

Actually I live nowhere near there - we drove down from Buffalo NY (where Hybrid Connection is, the shop that installed my kit) overnight - left 7pm Thur and got there approx 8:30am Fri Well worth it though, IMO!

For more pics of the cage etc go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/davidmoffitt/sets/1796130/ (they are toward the end)

UTEC uses hyperterminal... if thats all you want the laptop for.. i wouldn't invest in anything powerful... you can run hyperterminal on a 10 year old brick IBM 700E to a brand new IBM T60p *cough* lenovo *cough* it doesn't really matter..

don't invest in a laptop to run hypertermnial.. you could borrow your neighbors dog's laptop to run hyperterminal

Awesome to hear about the good customer service, since I have been checking out this site I have heard nothing but good things about him. Have fun, I may go that route in a year or two.

Hey Dave, glad you got home safely...and that was some really fancy photography work. The picture of devon practicing his limbo technique was outstanding.

And yes people...that roll cage was very nicely done...I was impressed.

Once you upgrade the actuators, switch to 3.5 inch test pipes, and a good 3 inch true dual...you'll be making some nutty power.

Peking, it was cold man....74F in the shop.

You upgrade to either of the APS exhausts and I can assure you, you will forget what the nismo ever sounded like. If you end up with the big exhausts and pipes, making boost won't be a problem -
congrats
