Rod Pics and the reason for the knock...
WOW-Im sorry to see this, but seeing all those rods bent made me laugh, kinda like a retard family portrait...good thing you pulled it so soon. You know for the internals you want-Forged Performance is where it's at
If the rods get bent like that without detonation.. then maybe someone should do some research and maybe find out what the most natural form of the rod should be in a V engine.. maybe bending the other way around a little when forged could = more strength?

Seriously, those rods where on the verge of giving up. Those pics provide a huge amount of insight into the stock VQ motor. IMO the boosted VQ community owes HoldThisForME a good amount of thanks.
If you could, take some good solid shots of the bearings, piston skirts, and cylinder walls?
I have seen rods bend worse than that to the point where the piston skirt was contacting the crank shaft on the down stroke(very loud knock)...However I have never seen all 6 rods bend!!!
