How many people have blown their Boosted engine with the FCON EMS?

That being said, I just do not see a feasible alternative to the Fcon right now... or to be honest ever. If there was a good alternative 2 years ago, and it had gone through the maturing/proofing phase like the Fcon did, then it might have presented a viable alternative. There is just nothign that comes close for the cost. You want a mature and proven product, period...and hte Fcon is the only alternative at this time, sadly.
The point of this thread, I belive is to verify that in fact there are NO failures with the Fcon, certainly not one in the hands of a good tuner. Tuner is 50% of the deal when it comes to tuning, probably more... the Fcon just gives him the tools to, basically, turn out a perfectly running car...perfectly.

Thanks for starting this thread, as I am getting my F con installed with some 3.5 APS test pipes, it just make the $$$$ justifiable. I have 467hp right now. I think its going to be close to the 480's when Sharif is done tuning this thing this 20th of Oct. We'll see. Yes Stock internals, I am going to put this theory to the test.

APS has the Z06 kit in development. Heck, just get the plain C6 and get the APS twin setup and push 600+ whp.
Crazy that the APS 3.5" pipes fit the PE kit - nice find

The pipes were tested on my spare turbo that i have in the garage...the holes lined up perfectly. Now, what are the chances that the other side will be different. I don't think so. They will physically be put on my car in the next few days. Before this, the the now defunct Scott Perforance's Ted, whom I am embarassed having recommended in the pst sinice i did not know better at the time, did actually verify this as well. Before that, Steve (zivman - sold his car since) did tell me that the turbos looked exactly the same side by side (APS and PE), which first gave me the idea to try these pipes.

If the F-CON gives you nearly total control, do you remove the factory ECU, or is it still running some basic functions?
I still have to worry about The Department of Environmental Quality jacking into my OBD II port every couple of years for re-licensing.
