Default Torned between EU and UTEC

I've been compiling the list of pros and cons of each EMS, but I still can't decide...
So the general consensus seems to be that UTEC has more soild control than the EU. UTEC takes full control of the timing and such instead of offsetting the stock ecu values like the EU.. Also UTEC doesn't have a problem with burning coils and such.. So I'm leaning towards the UTEC, but then in korea where I live, I haven't found any tuners who can tune UTEC, but I found a tuner who's pretty good with the EU... Will he be able to learn UTEC and tune my car, or should I just get the EU? I'm so torned...

I'd say go UTEC. I'm in the same situation you're in, but decided a while ago to go that rout and spend a few bucks more for added safety. Now i just need a good deal on a UTEC to roll around again.

go utec.

the interface isn't 21st century but that should change in the next 4 months. other than that, it provides reliable control!

Another vote for UTEC...its very easy to learn. Id imagine a competent tuner who is good with EMU/other EM's can learn this.

emanage is tuned by offsetting the factory ecu, the factory ecu does some weird stuff sometimes, i would say go utec for sure

it actually puts figures in for timing and fuel...

Utec>EU, but there is something to be said for going with a system that your tuner knows well. I think everyone will agree with that.

I would also recommend the UTEC for your EMS, Any system that provides full control of timing rather that offsetting the factory values is always better. As stated earlier the factory ECU does some odd things sometimes to compensate for different situations and that will throw off your orginal tune.

Let me know if there is anything we can help you with, we have UTECs in stock.
