Is your car a Dyno Queen??
Just wondering, I see alot of high 500hp Cars poping up all over the forums, with very few timeslips to go with them...Do you think your car is a Dyno Queen or a Track King??
Good point, and great question.
Our cars we build are DEFINATELY track kings!
...But not the kind you go in a straight line for about 11-13 seconds,
The type of tracks that cars like the Z's and G's, Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo's, and other sports cars are supposed to be on. Tracks like Road America, Willow Springs, Laguna Seca, Sears Point, Buttonwillow, etc.
After all, as I have said before IMHO, these are not drag cars like mustangs, or other muscle cars, or even supras. These cars are indeed, sports cars, and quite potent ones (when modified)
Just my 2 cents.

track numbers are as different as dyno numbers
different drag strips, different elevations, different temps, different humidity, different tires, different track preparation, different drivers, etc

Track. Going to Laguna Seca on November 4th, and Sears Point on November 12th. Testing out the new custom VRT-Stance suspension (Dampers and coilsprings). Running with our friends from Speedventures in Laguna, and the Porsche Club with Trackmasters racing at Infineon. Nice people in both groups, and some really nice cars.
She has done 1:57 at Cal Speedway with the Roval, 1:44 at Laguna Seca, (with me behind the wheel) and 1:25 at Streets of Willow (CW with the Bowl, Scott B driving) on the older set up and/or narrower tires. Once I learn how to drive this thing better it should be delivering superior times. A really good driver will beat my times by several seconds, no doubt about it.

do you have to race it down the 1/4 to be considered a racer? my car sees about 1500 miles a month in the months that i drive it (scratch that, i go thru 2 tanks a night when I take it out, im sure im over 2000-2250 a month)... and let me tell ya, im not just out for a sunday drive.
Well said. A know a few track "elitists" who think that if you dont have significant track days, you wasted money on your car. Personally, everyone has different interests. That's the bottom line.
