Default I think my tranny is taking a poop on me...

Well, since I have a vortech, I figure I'll post this here. Although my tranny is not slipping (yet, and thank god) I am having some serious "jerk" issues. I had this prior to the s/c but it was only while letting the car downshift by itself in MM when slowing to a stop (from 3 to 1 it would jerk twice randomly). I have now determined that this is an ongoing issue. It does it ALL the time now. The funny thing is, it doesn't do it when I break quickly. If I break quickly, and then feather off the throttle, there's no jerk. When I slowly break, rolling ever so slightly to a stop it violently jerks when I downshift or when I let the car downshift. This ONLY happens when going at very slow speeds < 10 mph. At faster and highway speeds, upshifting to 2nd and 3rd is a bit jerky, but I think that's due to the torque converter during these low gears. 4th and 5th are perfectly fine. Note, this ONLY happens in MM mode. Auto mode is perfect. Any thoughts? How does the MM mode differ from Auto mode in terms of mechanics? What actually happens when you slide the shifter over into MM? Is it different mechanics, or are you just bypassing the ECU in a way? Why would this happen in MM mode, but not in Auto mode? Help is appreciated...
