it's nice, but

1) Where is the coolant overflow relocated to?
2) That uppipe is DAMN close to the oil pan
3) Of course the GT35R kit makes better numbers as both the TN kit and APS both run t3 style housings while a true GT35R housing is larger
4) from the looks of it, the intake pipe sits a tad higher than the plenum! That's basically making it impossible to use any sort of strut bar whatsoever.
5) looks like the crossover up pipe hangs low.


Also, I would've had them heat wrap all the uppipes......he's letting a lot of heat loose in that engine bay with them not coated!


Otherwise I think it looks good, but I wouldn't go out and say it will compete with TN....that kit prolly costs a bit more to fab up and doesn't have a packaged plug 'n play management system.


PS. All that money and he gets a TUBE AND FIN intercooler????

Heat shields for the turbo are also highly recommended....all in all a great looking kit.

This is the only part of the kit that could use some work. Otherwise it looks great.

It looks great to me and the fitment of the IC piping is awesome.

I dont think that would be a problem If you have a 6MT


The install on the other hand looks like it would be a *****. from this picture it looks like you would have to remove the compressor side of the trub to install it (welded pipe on the compressor)


What is the pricing like and will they produce these for the G sedan?

Wow, very linear power curve, its awesome, but Im trying to figure out HTF the BMW engineers are able to get max torque in the 335i available at 1500 RPM WTF!!!

That's because it appears they've borrowed pieces of each other existing ST kit on the market and put it all on this kit. Many aspects of it look familiar. I think that charge pipe is direct from the Injected kit.

Like the Injected kit, this one probably won't see much light of day.

Kit looks good. I like how the turbo is easily seen when you pop the hood. Think I'll stick with my nitrous setup though....

all the turbo kits for the Z have linear power curves.

What do you mean how BMW engineers get torque at 1500rpm? Hello? It's twin turbo, using VERY SMALL turbos, and ECU controls boost...it's very easy to get torque super quick using super small turbos.

They cheaped the hell out on that intercooler using a tube and fin design those aren't nearly as efficient as bar and plates.

+1 on the install being a PITA.............


Also, why do they have the hot oil lines zip tied to the vacuum line? LAWL. The more I see the more I'm skeptical of the reliability of the kit.

Kit looks nice. Some piping could be rerouted and lines too, but the look it clean and props for doing it.

For everyone saying its a TN copy, there are only so many places to put a turbo. If it was by the tranny everyone would cry APS copy.

28 mpg, no oil burning, no boost leaking, no rpm issues, just smooth driving. Been building cars a long time. Turbo/SC/nitrous...you name it. Nitrous is superior for what I use it for. It just makes sense to me. And its headache free - unlike turbo (unless its a turbo car from the factory...my supra was a beast).

That's all I need bub. 11 seconds actually. I've had all forms of forced induction, thank you very little and prefer nitrous. I don't dog my car everywhere I go. I only turn on the bottle when I wanna go fast. If I want anymore excitement than that...I'll jump on the gixxer. One of the perks of having more than one vehicle. To each his own.
