Default Fuel Pressure Regulator Problems ?!!?!?!???

So, here is the problem, saturday my tune was the bomb, 60F weather 15.5psi and 11.1 across the board, I couldn't have been happier

Then, after leaving the movies at like 2am the weather had dropped to 50F and I was noticing some hesitation and probems under WOT however I was down to < 1/4 tank so I thought it might have been a starvation problem so I waited until I filled up today.

Today after filling up, the temperature was 30-40F and when I got on it I saw that my AFR was 16-17+ !!!!! Got out of it right away.

So I tried turning up the fuel pressure and it did not seem to be making a difference but I did notice that with RPM my AFR was going up, which is kind of indicating that the FPR is not rising with boost ...

Anyone else have this problem or notice this kind of behaviour ????

I'm gonna check the connections to the FPR when I get home (keeping out of boost of course), but it's kinda scary .. !!!

Check the vac/boost line to the FPR, if that's ok your fpr coulda taken a dump on you. You have a FPR guage?

Ok, problem solved ... and it was the stupidest of things ...

So, one of my passengers had accidently pulled the MAP cable out of the utec and so it was getting a constant -17.7psi and hence never changing load sites ....

Oh well, live and learn, that'll teach me for having the utec still exposed ... If only they made a better bracket or made it slimmer for us G35's ....

Thanks for the suggestions,

Colin
