Default Question about the Greddy TT Kit

Hey guys, this is my first time posting on the forums. Im thinking about selling my 06 STI and getting a 350z and getting a TT kit.

Now to my question. I was wondering if you can piece out the Greddy TT Kit. Seems like some of the parts are just useless. I want just the turbos, manifolds, intakes, wastegates and fmic. The injectors, ems and downpipes are just a waste because i would either get the AAM or Forged Performance 3" downpipes with dumptubes, a better fuel system and go with a complete F-CON EMS. So i dont see why i should spent the full amount if im going to end up not using the Greddy e-manage, the 440cc injectors and the dinky 2.25 or 2.5(whichever it is) downpipes.

Also ive been reading in some posts that there are two different sizes for the turbos or an upgrade for the Greddy Turbos. Where can you get that and who has info on it.

Thanks a lot and hopefully ill be making the transition to the Z family.

Look in the Classifieds or Ebay for a used kit and negotiate.

just sell all the stuff you are not going to use or buy a used kit. I'd personally just buy new and sell the parts. BTW this is what most people who buy the greddy tt kit do now a days. As far as turbo upgrade contact 350zDCalb or Sharif@forged they both had their greddy turbos upgraded so they can help you with that. Also I don't know if they are still available for sale by Mark from SGP racing was selling a brand new greddy tt kit that had upgraded turbo. You may want to give him a call or look in the classifieds for his old thread.

Used kits are usually missing quite a few critical pieces. Seems like people always forget to take off that power steering pump adaptor, and a few other hard to find/replace items.

If you purchased a new Greddy TT kit, you could easily sell the 440cc injectors, and eManage blue, and offset the cost of the kit.

In regards to turbos, the kits come with td05 18G's, and many people with high power goals (upwards of 700whp) will have them upgraded to a td06/60-1 or a td06/20G setup.
Let us know if we can help.

Good idea switching, you will not be disappointed.
