Update guys-it made 475whp with a 4600rpm power peak and TQ dropped at 3800rpm's to 123ft/lbs by redline, this was done on a forged block with a manly 16psi on pump gas. Minutes after testing they realized it was worthless and ditched the Stage 2 idea and fired the R&D team. Twins for everybody!














j/k I loved my TN kit, Im sure it will be worth the wait guys

 

If you want a GT35R then by all means go for it. The sad fact is the current 62-1 compressor and turbine will outflow the GT35R by a mile. The GT-K line is a 100% new design so I'd like to know how your shop can say Turbonetics is just making their turbos meet Garrett. Especially when (1)there are no released compressor maps (2) they weren't involved in design (3) No GT-Ks have been shipped (4) Have never flow tested and compared charts on Garrett or anyone elses turbo designs (5) Garrett was asking Turbonetics about the new turbos. Not the other way around.

No miaplaya, it wasnt my shop. I went to a shop to figure out the new noise that my car was making that I was recommended too. I dont know much about the gt35r to be honest, it was just mentioned to me. If you say the gtk is better, I have no problem with waiting. The question just sorta popped into my head, NO REASON to be a smart *** alberto. Sure hope the info comes in soon, I am too excited lol to hold this in.

Who ever told you that GTK vs Garrett crap is full of $hit, you should know this as nobody knows anything about the GTK yet, so therefore common sense says "that shop owner is biased to Garrett turbo's" instead you bring it up in a TN thread lol. Better to be a smart a$$ than a dumb...

 

I bring it up as a question, and you give a smart *** comment for no reason. Str8 up, dont call me a dumb *** when I ask a simple question of quality and performance comparison of a turbo. Why dont you grow up a little, I did nothing wrong but ask for a comparison and you got stupid. w/e
