Default Aps Tt

Hi guys,

I am still waiting for my kit to arive. And it is nerve wrecking!! Can anyone post some good soundclips of an aps 3"exhaust with 3.5" downpipes? reving, starting up and driving. It's for me to decide whether or not i am going to by some silencers for the exhaust. I have bad neighbours

If you have to be quiet around ur neighborhood this wouldnt be the way to go. This exhaust is amazing. I have it on my z with the tt kit and its rumble is awesome. Im sure theres other nice exhausts you could go with too but you definitely wont have any regrets with this one, and id say dont do silencers.

if you have any reservations about a loud exhaust, I dont' think the 3" is for you. I was expecting loud, but it was much louder in person than I expected. At idle, it basically sounds like open exhaust. Under load, it is very throaty and raps like crazy - sounds very good. with the Z being a hatch back, there is significant drone at cruise. I chose to stick with a combo of the big test pipes into the 2.5" catback. The 3" truelly is not for the faint of heart.

All that said, the 3" isn't really needed until you start aproaching 600 whp and the 2.5" will still flow enough to get well into the 500's. MrTomcat hit over 600 whp on his 'small' 2.5" exhaust
