Most common, "best", exhaust/header combo for SC application?
Just wondering what the most common exhaust is for an SC setup? I know for TT's and things like that you have to have some pretty free flowing exhaust, is that the same for SC?
I want to go with the Injen SES Setup. Would this be alright? I don't have the SC yet, but I don't want to make mods to my car that I'd have to remove once I got it.
Same question for the headers? What has been peoples favorite combo? Hmm....might as well ask about cats too. I have a set of R/T high flows. Any foreseeable problems?

i have seen the injen SES the newer TI version<-click(bigger piping than regular ses) good for 406whp on a stock motor witha turbo....
I am sure it woudl be fine S/C.
YOu could always get the HKS dual <-click too if your targets are to go with a S/C

I'm always reading in magazines with regards to honda 4 cylinder turbo engines that a single 3 inch exhaust is good up to about 500whp before it starts to become the major bottleneck.
I don't really see how it'd be much different on a Z in terms of peak power, even though the Z is a V6 instead of an I4
There's many guys with turbo Z's who run a single 3 inch exhaust on their single turbo or even twin turbo in some cases so they can save 50lbs by using a single 3 inch titanium exhaust. They probably do lose some slight power in the upper rpms, in exchange for more power in the midrange

From what I have seen, most of the aftermarket Z headers have a 2.25 inch collect (All DC Sport Styles), alot of the test pipes on the market are 2.25 inlet and expand to 2.5 (Stillen, some ebay brands), then you could get a 2.5 inlet to 3inch outlet y-pipe (I made mine), and then 3 inch from there back.

thats what i thought... so there is not header that outs 3"s or 2.5"s ?
you metnioned most..which dont?
Most any good quality brand header should do. Strup is great if you are on a budget. Crawford is my favorite. Xerd for long tube headers. If you are supercharging your car I think you have a few other things to worry about before you can even reach 600whp.
With that said I think you should have the answer you need as of right now as you need to find a way to get above 600whp to begin with with a supercharger.
With all due respect, I would go with strup headers and testpipes and SVR Tech exhaust. The setup will flow quite a bit. Scott is a good guy too and gives great customer service. That guy got under his car one night to measure something for me even though I have not bought anything from him!!!! Definitly a great place to start.

ok.. my setup...will be all custom.. no supercharger... but turbo charged.. 4" down pipe.. 4" custom exhaust.. buidl sleeved engine, yada yad yada thats why i said...something that could handle 600+whp on the headers area in particular
i need to solve the restriction on the headers...not on a budget but not shooting for cheapest or most expensive either(unless i have too)... What did injected performance used in their test car anybody knows?

A complete custom turbo kit!!!
I am not completely understanding your post. If you are turbocharging your car then the headers are buy no means your bottle neck as they are before your turbo and they will provide more pressure to any turbo than you will ever be able to put back into your engine. Your turbo will be the bottle neck in that case if you are going with that exhaust.
Is this a single turbo setup or a twin turbo setup?

yes...me going with complete custom , single...the turbo will be tested till the right configuration is found.... this is not a hacked version of any of the single kits out there at all..
i know injected setup is also all custom...just wondered what they did on the headers....
"aim" me if you can
