Default found a leak i think

not sure what the tube is for the gold metal tube with a rubber hose connecting on the top right of this picture to it. when i move it in a certain direction i can hear the hissing stop.. would this hose cause a boost leak? what is this for anyways?

also there is a hose connector bulging in the middle at one of the connections between 2 of the TN pipes.. i spray some soapy water on it as best as i could and did not see any reaction.. is a bulge okay as long as it is not leaking?

The gold tube sticking out from the lower plenum? I believe for the TN, the vacuum line goes onto the upper plenum where the OEM black nipple is.

So if I remember correctly the lower plenum with the gold hose has a hose that connects to the head of the passenger side of the valve cover

Not sure if having a leak there would cause a boost leak.

So how much boost are you holding?

no boost gauge.. i think the car can still hit max boost with a small leak.. the turbo just has to work harder.. actually put out more psi.
the location of my hose is the same as the one in the picture.. which should be like stock. hose from lower plenum into the side of the head.. right by the ignition coil.

That tube is running into the lower plenum and is vacuum or boost for something but I need to look at my car tonight to see what it is.... I don't think it should be open. And BTW the Turbonetics never has use do anything with that tube...

I agree with you.. i think its the same as stock.. but it is def leaking somewhere on it.. i'll take my cover off tomorrow when there is light and inspect the hose. just curious to see if boost would leak form there.
