Decided to go Stillen

It looks great, sounds great, is very reliable and easy to install/maintain, and gets you some great low/mid-range power. End of discussion. Really, what is there to debate?
OP get what you want man...Its your car...Just know that you are dropping comparatively major coin for minor gains...Doesnt make financial/common sense in the least...But car modding isnt the most practical/logical of hobbies
As Davidv said in another thread one time ...
"Do not pick an FI kit for a 350Z that you like. Conduct a poll. Follow the results like a lemming."
Do whatever gives you the biggest smile.

Update time! Well Stillen totally dropped the ball on me. Ordered the polished kit and was sent the black kit. And just earlier today I got an e-mail saying NOT TO have the blower exposed at all, as it will greatly effect the performance and longevity of the blower....which is a total contradiction to what I was told in 3 e-mails prior and 2 phone calls. So needless to say they are taking the kit back and giving me a complete refund. Kinda upset that I cant go with the setup/look I wanted to. So I guess its back to the drawing board....most likely go Greddy TT or JWT TT now.
well at least the greddy or JWT kit will shut up all the turbo guys from jumping on you
sorry the stillen won't work out for you, but IMO I think stillen is just trying to cover their butt by saying not to do it. They probably don't want to risk any negative press should something actually go wrong

I can understand them saying not to then giving a reason. That way I can be aware of what may occur and then it would all be on me. But all the guy said, can't recall his name, is that there was a very high risk of it serisouly effecting the blower. I could see it causing belts to wear faster due to weathering....but the blower? Oh well, time to move to the next idea.
