Default Greddy TT Down Pipes...

Is there any companies that is planning to make a 3inch down pipe for the greddy kit besides the only one available by AAM?

If you find a good muffler shop that can do mandrel bending you can have a set made for around 300.

Yeah. its actually easy to make straight pipes. 300 dollars even is too much. Itll be 75 bucks for the piping and welder use and the flanges, and 1 hour or so to make it.

Custom Built seems like a good idea, $600 asking price is wayyyy to much for 3" piece of pipe that isn't more than 2 feet long.

They are actually $700. It is because of all the AAM R&D that went into making them.....

i seen single downpipes for 4 banger cars that are going for around 275 - 350 for single 3" downpipe. twice for 2 doesnt sound out of the norm to me, especially if they are including some type of wastegate relocation. its also a rare application. how many greddy twin turbo 350z are there, even worse is how many are going to go for 3" downpipes. i would expect to sell maybe 12 - 15 sets a year tops. that alone is worth a premium.

I had my true dual exhaust custom made from the exhaust shop near my house. From the down pipes he made, back to the stock muffler tips he welded on, cost me $200 for 2.5" pipes. Wanted to go 3", but after talking it over, we decided that i'd probably never see more than 550hp and really don't need to go 3". No cat, no res, no mufflers. Just ***** out LOUD. The way God intended it.

I'm pretty sure Sharif is having them made. O know Alberto has them and I think ROn just got a set.

We are on our second set of prototype 3 inch Forged Performance downpipes for the Greddy TT. We have decided to go with a circulating setup, to keep noise down, without any sacrifice in power. If this set test fits well on my car, its full speed ahead for production. I'll have more details on this product shortly, but we spared no expense, in terms of engineering, material selection, and hardware. You guys will like them.

Svrtechnologies has a 3 inch exhaust that bolts up from the down pipes back, they aren't very loud, but seemingly produce good power. I have the set up and I love the sound and performance. It is a lot less than the competition and Scott is a real cool guy. That was my pick.

I saw this prototype and it is excellent quality. I only wish they were ready for my build. You should wait for these if you can.

I'd rather not say just yet, as I want to make sure the fitment is perfect before releasing price or details. We are doing the final test fit next week, and once the green light is given, we'll have a dozen sets made within 2 weeks. Each one is assembled, and tig welded by hand.

Does the Svrtech. waste gate relocation piece act as a down pipe also or do you still retain your greddy down pipes ?

It just relocates the wastegates and vents them to the atmosphere. It does not touch the downpipes.
