how will the 2.3inh taper in the beggining of the Evott be with a 3inch downpipe though?

Better than nothing I suppose. It is more of an issue...the higher in boost you go.

Or you could have a shop cut out the 2.5 inch section (its about 1.5 inch worth of pipe on both sides), and weld in a 3 inch piece with a new flange.

I see that SGP has just released their DP's...Any update on the Forged DP's?

Where did you see them on their site? All I saw was their wastegate relocation kit, which doesn't provide a 3" downpipe.

I am interested in these too because the SGP and AAM versions are open dump. I don't want my car to be obnoxious.

We havent test fitted on an auto, but the nature of the design builds some very good clearance for the auto trans.
