Default Greddy turbo swaps

Anyone tried using some of greddy/mitsubishi's other turbos with the greddy kit?

Something like a td06s-l2 20g or any of the larger 3-bolt turbine combinations?

20g should bolt right up to it.

yea the best match would be a straight 20G L2 turbo, since your getting the upgrade on both sides for properly matched blades. I believe the L2 compressor housing is about the same as ours - and thats where the size restriction comes into play. So if that clears the chassis, then it should be a direct bolt on.

You can also go with TD06-60-1's which is what Sharif runs on his 350 if i'm not mistaken. This set-up offers a 30% increase in airflow according to Turbochargers.com. Thats what i'm going to use so we'll see.

Anyone running upgraded turbos on a Greddy kit would likely have a built motor, and not be running the weaksauce E-manage. But, of course you would have to retune for any changes in a set-up...

Check out DSM.org for some good deals on the td05 type turbos. ..
I'm going to probably sell my 18G's there and just get some 16Gs or something.. I'm only planning to run7PSI anyway.. .. (anything more will void warranty).. I wanted to get a smaller turbo for this so I can get some quicker spoolup.. .. or maybe some BB turbos..
whichever..
i know there are some pretty nice turbos for the DSM guys, and all of the ones that are bolton for them are bolton for the GReddy TT kit.

Just remember they dont' sell in Pairs

I thought all the DSM turbos were a 4-bolt pattern though?

I started this thread just for discussion. I already have a set of custom greddy turbos.
