I got this book for X-mas. It is definately a good read and lots of great turbo-related knowledge. I have found the section on intercooling to be particularly good.
I think my wife ordered it from Amazon.....check it out if this kind of stuff interests you.

I can't recommend this book enough. I read it once maybe 3-4 years ago when I first got it, then recently reread it this past fall. It does have a couple of sections that are quite tedious to get through, like the carburation section, but the rest of the book is a very good guide and a great starting point to picking out the right turbocharger.

 

Great guide, read it over a month or so when I was bored. Has some outdated information but it's always good to know. Hopefully there may be a revision with some of the newer technologies out there one day.

 

I've read this book several teams over the last few years. Great resource for calculations.. some of the information is dated but its a good resource regardless.

 

yup..good basic knowledge...although the technology and strategy has changed over the years, and is a bit dated.

But the fundamentals are spot on. Required reading, IMHO.
