Well, I have open dump on my TN set up... OH MY GOD when I floor it... its like the damn INDI 500... Freaking nuts!

ITs deffinitly loud.. but a respectable loud. Sounds to me like a damn track car when flyn-by. I had someone drive my car an pass by me at full boost... damn thing sounded like nothing to 4u*K with!

I do get annoyed sometimes... like when driving with my wife in the car an she starts gettin pissed lol...

And yes... it helps the car gain additional HP... though I havent been dynoed after it... ill come back to you on that one!

.......I wanted to add... I took an 05 Vett with sum work done an he thought i was nuts....so DO IT! (OH WHEN I SAY TOOK HIM, I MEAN TWO CAR LENGTHS )... GOTTA BRAGG LOL.. who wouldnt?

 

give me a few weeks and ill have an open dump on an aps single. i have it all fabbed up and ready to be installed, but since im selling my car, im not gonna go thru the hastle of installing it on my car. we are gonna install it on the Z that bought my kit. should sound sweet.

 

yep vids don't do it any justice. i love mine!! under regular driving conditions its not too bad, but man once u get on it, boy i tell ya!! its screams!!

 

I see that your car was tuned by SGP. Do you have the SGP open dumps?

 

There is nothing I hate more than open dumps. Well actually there are things I hate more but I hate open dumps with a passion. I was unwilling to floor my car with my driver's side window down when I had an open dump because it would make my eardrum rattle. Loud didn't begin to describe it, it was painful, also the fact that they sound like azz doesn't help my opinion of them. I hate them.

 

yes sir! i like them a lot! its not too bad just cruzin or driving around were it doesn't get on ur nerves too bad, but really when u get on them they are loud!!!! and at times i think may be too loud its all good, performs great, instant power, more HP, and sounds great!(most of the time). heh i think its a winning combo in my book.

Well we tried 1 on a gt34 and we had a Recirculating 1 as well no gain what so ever but the sound is what it differs i Recirculating mine but custom made it 3" 1.

That's retarded...there are plenty of people that don't like open dumps that have turbo cars. I'm one of them too. Telling someone that they aren't "allowed" to dislike open dumps is pretty dumb. I like a stealth setup, not something you can hear coming from a mile away.

LOL....its very much personal preference. I have customers that LOVE the dumps, like Ron and Alberto, and others that think my car is way too loud. Differing opinions is what makes the world go round.

 

Open Dumps rule.....But my moms not a loud person so the Z wont get em.

But eventually on down the road the wanted SR witll def have one.....

I could not drive a TT Z without them. Best mod out there. You choose when they open by how you drive. Off boost, the car sounds normal, but when you get on it, there is no question.

I like my open dumps, I've scared many people walking down the road and gunning it. They're very loud (although not bad at all in the cabin w/ the windows up) but they do leave you smelling like exhaust after a short while. But those are no big deal to me.
