Default AAM return fuel question?

At what hp range do you need to upgrade the aam stage I return fuel system, if final goals are 600 to 650.
Is the stage II even available?

I'm thinking if you have 650cc+ injectors and a walbro fuel pump, you might be able to make 600rwhp. Might have to bump up the fuel pressure.

ya with some effort you can probably squeeze 600 out of it, but that should be on the edge. that system retains the factory 5/16 pipe which is quite a long restriction for a single pump trying to hit its max.

their stage 2 system is available and it will definately take you where your looking to be.

Well, I would assume it would at least come with the canister, pump, brackets, etc, no matter what. Thats the important part. People might have different ideas on how they want to plumb it and run it perhaps?

i know phunk can't come out and tell you this.. but i however can..

the CJM Fuel System made by phunk is a far superior product to the AAM fuel system. If you have not commited to a fuel system just yet, i advise you to do a couple searches in the FI section and without a doubt you will find out the CJM Fuel System is better.

AAM Stage II is available now: We have them on the website. It will definately supply enough fuel for 750whp. That's the max we have tested it to (dyno jet number)
It's a bit cumbersome to install, but a good shop will figure it out.

After some of the stuff that's come out of that shop I don't know why you'd want their parts on your car. Go with the CJM if you want the superior product...

Has anyone just eliminated the 5/16s line and added a bigger one???

Yes several people have done that. I have seen a car make 650+ rwhp on a dynojet after upgrading the hard pipe and the lines going from the pump to the hardpipe!
