We have tuned SS and Utec. Both are nice piggy backs.SS is entry level and will get the job done.I have it on my car and hav used it on alot of different applications for almost 10 years. Never any issues or problems. Utec is like the midgrade piggyback and has some cool features that are worth the extra cash. However, the DOS based software is a joke in my opinion, compared to the windows based software of the SS box.The high-end piggy back for the Z is the HKS f-con but it is expensive and only authorized dealers are allowed to tune it. From my understanding, there are a couple companies that have gotten the AEM to work with the Z and in my opinion this will be the best option on the market for the cost. I love the AEM. I have tuned alot of cars with it and it is incredible for the money.

Does anyone have experience with this kit? How well does it run? i'm looking for 400whp daily driver without modifying my internals....for now. I want this kit because the low boost delivers good hp numbers. i'm also planning on staying low boost for about a year until i upgrade internals and go over 550whp. the kit looks really well built too. Does it come with any type of baseline tuning or piggyback? if so, how does it perform with the base tune? what else would i need with this kit to make it my daily driver, or is everything included with it? thanks.

It runs well as long as it is tuned properly We do provide a good solid baseline map if you buy the complete system with the SS box that will allow you to start driving and enjoying the new power immediately. However,we alsways advise out customers to have the car dynoed to make sure everything is working and installed correctly and you have good AFR,running the proper amount of boost,etc.........

Vortech's price is like $470.00, there is one FS in the classifieds for $ 200.00 or maybe less?
