my Raptor BOV does the same thing. It is open under vaccum and allowing air into the intake tract also......what's the big deal?

I do like how the valve is opposte to other valve in that when under boost the air in the tract forces the valve to stay closed. there is no chance of boost leaking out of the BOV.....but who really has that problem???

I dont think your right with that. Why would you want unfiltered air into the inlet tract???
The BOV just releases pressure from the inlet side.

The BIG deal is that they have taken each of their products to the next level.
No friken diaphragm to get stuck open or to rip/tear on the bov's, wastegate's, and fpr's!
They re-engineered each item to be Better than what products are/have been available.

and yes, .... people have problems with BOV's leaking under boost....

I don't want unfiltered air, but that is what it does......I spoke to TN about it, and they siad that is normal. If I were to crank down on the spring pressure to keep it closed during normal driving (high vacuum situations), the BOV would not vent properly when I need it to vent.

The synchronic is doing the same thing.......I haven't looked at the vid link above yet, but I have seen their videos on the net recently.

just watched the video....that is the best video they have on this product.

Is that a fair comparison to use the HKS sequential valve? it is a sequential valve that is not supposed to react greatly at low volumes/pressures, right?

you could probably mount an air horn w/ whistle holes in it like the Greddy RS has to enhance the sound feature of this BOV.

After waiting forever for them to release their wastegate to the public, I just went ahead and picked up a Tial 46mm....oh well.

And the idea of running no bov so you can hear the compressor surge is a really bad idea, no matter how advanced a turbo may be.

Anyone know how much this costs? I checked their retailer list on their site and none of them have the BOV listed.
