Default ** Aps Extreme Tt Kit Install **

Sorry no big fonts and bells and whistles on this post just wanted to post info on an install of an APS Extreme TT kit along with a built block in forum member Gators2001's 350Z. Very nice kit, the intercooler is huge, for the engine management we went with a Utec.

Other mods previously installed or installed along with the kit and built block:
JWT Springs and C2 Cams
HKS Headgaskets
ARP L19 Head Studs
Samco Hoses
Nissan Rear Cooling Mod
KOYO Slim Radiator
JWT Flywheel
Clutchmaster FX400 CLutch
TurboXS Utec and Tuner Pro
Sertrab Oil Cooler
APS 3" Exhaust
AAM Plenum Spacer

The car was tuned for base boost of the wastgates which turned out to be 12 psi, we will tune for higher boost later. Results on our Mustang dyno were RWHP=476 and RWTQ=411, he took it to a Dynojet and got RWHP=507 and RWTQ=442. I am sure he has his hands full with that but will bring it back in for a higher psi tune.

Here are some pics of the process and also of the dynos:

This kit makes the car a beast! The installation went smooth. The Turbos have no lag at all.
Im really looking forward to increasing the boost and seeing what she does. At 12lbs, she is asking for more.

Big THANKS to Japtrixs and Gus (westpak) for the great work!

Yo JUN when you coming over for a ride?

good work! how much boost did it make that power at? (just curious if the turbos are really much larger at all).

looks like a very clean installation on a clean car.

alberto: I think that graph appears to be uncorrected. Even tho the top right corner of the graph where it says the correction and smoothing is cut off, on the vertical axis where it says "Power" and "Torque" it would typically say "SAE Power" or "STD Power" Etc.

No Dynojet correction, the 476/411 numbers were on our Mustang dyno and the 507/442 were on another shop's Dynojet.

It was tuned on 93 octane.

Thanks the tech prides himself on his clean installs.

The tune was on the base boost of the wastgates which turned out to be 12 psi.

Ok, so those Dynojet #'s were actual-what were the conditions for the run?
