An alignment tech should only drive your car on and off the alignment rack, NO need for street testing-you should have known that and stopped the douche bag. Your baby was raped in the butt So what were the before and after specs??

you are blaming the alignment guy for what? what could he have done to the car that you haven't already? If it is so delicate than you should not let anyone drive it.

Not to be critical but if the rest of the install looks like that fuel pump connection I am surprised you don't have more issues. Look over everything, use a Cipher to read any codes.

they have to street drive it, if they didnt, you could drive off, the rear end fall off, and sue them. they do it for every car they work on, let me rephrase that, they are supposed to.

Why would a rear end fall off when only adjusting eccentric bolts? If they TQ'd the bolts to spec holding on the camber arms no need IMO. Do you have a tech test drive your car after taking a wheel off to make sure it wont fall off? Its an (un)necessary as that IMO.

comon alberto, i was exagerating with the whole rear end falling off. ok, so he tqs them down, what happens if the bolt snaps or cracks and he doesnt notice. you pull out, get on the interstate, it comes apart and becomes unstable. you crash and die. what then.

techs dont take my wheels off. but if anybody else does anything, which is rare, hell yeah i want them to test drive it to make sure it doesnt fall apart

If a bolt snaps its not the techs fault. For the record I had an early version of the Kinetix Camber arm snap in 1/2 going about 80mph few years ago when I hit a joint on the highway. Car got wobbly, I drove 2 more miles to work with what looked like -5 degrees rear camber, I hadnt noticed it snapped driving, saw it when I got out. An install of this caliber IMO doesnt warrant somebody driving my car to make sure a bolt isnt loose. Its either done right or wrong, if something happens like a bolt/rod breaking that wouldnt usually be the techs fault. But thats just my opinion.

im not talking about it breaking while driving, im talking about it breaking while they are adjusting it. legally they have to test drive the car after they do work on it. it isnt an option, they are doing it for their protection. if they did work, and something happened and there was an accident, and it came out that they didnt check the work, they are screwed.

Damn... Every kinetix part on the market has some instance of catastrophic failure. Not good...

Agree to disagree, a bolt breaking during adjustment has nothing to do with a tech driving the car after and making sure the bolt doesnt break on a 1 mile test drive and calling it "safe". I'll stop hijacking the thread now.
