Just so I'm have a clear understanding of the FCON, will the VDC and cruise control continue to function? Just heard tuners have had problems with both on the FCON. Are there any other issues that haven't been sorted out yet?

It's probably in the range of 4k more than the utec. Fcon works great but it's expensive insurance.

If you upgrade to FCON, I will see about making the warranty retroactive, in order to cover your engine...hehe.

you could always lock down a UTEC using a "tuner code," but that might not go over well.

Someone could still overwrite the file, or even swap another UTEC in so tune themselves.

With the FCON, none of this is possible. I can totaly see why he would only allow the FCON. There is just no way for an end user to mess with it.

Congrats Sharif, this is one more reason why I need a FCON. Let me know if you find a used one.
