Default Boost APS TT

I just picked up my car after it had various things put on it. here is a link to the install http://www.streetsports.com/photo/ve...ps/default.htm
my question is what should the boost shut off at? I saw from my autometer gagues it's peak was 17 psi which is way too high. although under a low load (5th gear) i can punch it let the car go to around 4k and the boost goes to 8 or 9 psi. Which I think that is right, I am worried that if I get on it really hard like launching the car or just testing it's reaction in first gear, that when i punch it really hard the boost will shoot up.

Stop right there and make sure the boost control solenoid is installed and/or wired up correctly!!

I have a feeling that your autometer boost gauge (Nexus?) had the 17 psi peak value before you installed it. Reset the peak value on your boost gauge and then go make a WOT run in 4th gear. I bet it will show peak boost at 9 psi.

yeah it's nexus, do you have any idea how to reset them all? I was trying to figure it out, and was worried I would mess something up. You are probably right they were on a STI before my car. I was thinking it would have reset them when we unplugged them from the STI?

You can reset the peak values by pressing the peak button first (peak should be lit up on all gauges) and then press the stop button.
