How much does this option usually cost? I'm hoping to get into the mid 400's soon with a new EMS, Cams, and a tune by Sam, I'm thinking maybe this is another precaution I could take?

snow performance's methanol injection kit is between $200-300 depending on what stage u get... i would def suggest u get it pushing that type of hp...

 

where can you purchase the spearco or any methanol kit just wondering???????????

btw, what about the Nitrous Express Intercooler Sprayer Kit?

 

i have the ic sprayer kit....no dyno numbers yet.(end of march i will)...but "supposedly" they put 50 whp on a turbo civic after baseline....so they say on there website... i would be happy with any rwhp added....peace of mind knowing my intake temps are dramatically dropped...about $350 for that kit...
snowperformance.net is where i got mine....they have premixed methanol/water which is what i usually use...u can use heat/windshield wiper fluid with methanol in it but i dont trust that...also its great because i run it in my windshield wiper resevoir...its bigger then the one they give u and it can still clean your windshield!
install was pretty easy too...

I got mine straight from Snow PReformance also. i got the stage 2 jobby and the bigger tank to go with it. ibelive i paid 600for it with a case of boost juice.

Do I need a new tune after installing the kit? I wouldn't think so, since it has nothing to do with power gains.

 

tha methanol actually has two settings ...mist and full spray ...i mist mine at 2.5psi full spray at 5psi ....tune would help get the most out of this mod but u can run it untuned...

 

you install the meth kit as an ADDED enhancementif all youa re looking is more WHP then youa re better off going for N20
The main idea is to lower you a:f..you do make a lil more power cuase you do increase the octage or your gas by a few points, but its hardly noticable on the butt dyno

you can gain more HP because you can reduce timing. It's basically like running race gas just only when you need to since the controller sprays based on the PSI.

I have the Stage II Snowperformance kit with the larger tank.
I also got longer lines because I have the tank mounted in the trunk and trust me the line the kit comes with did not reach far enough
