any built aps st's out there?
If it were a gt3582r it would have no problem making that power but the compressor housing is aps custom made so the wheel isnt the same as whats in the ones on the cars making 600whp..

You sir, are incorrect...
JoeDirtPharmD on this board bought an off the shelf 3582R cartridge to replace his ruined one - it fit perfectly in the APS housings. It's a 3582R... Custom housings mean nothing when it comes to the wheels involved. the end.

Hm ok i was under the impression they were diffrent. I still wonder why there are no bigger power numbers from it then. Considering i was going to use a turbo of similar size or bigger than a gt35r82 in my single turbo setup. I do have a built engine though.

because no one has really tried....everyone that builds does it off of a platform that has more potential...(greddy tt, aps tt, etc.)

Thanks.
he upgraded his whole setup, he went with the JWT TT,
when he had the aps, he was still using the fuel system that came with the kit, that was his problem, i think he was running out of fuel.

a have a couple numbers in my head, but could someone give me a break down on how much it would cost for this type of build....the shortblock, fuel system...etc.....?
Yep, if you sat back and watched a shop do everything for you, it'd come close to that. Considering proper fuel system, ems, aps external wg, etc, etc, etc. Given the number of individuals that have installed this kit on the boards, you could probably manage it yourself if you're inclined (to include the fuels sys, ems, etc).
I would however, strongly recommend that you go to a good shop to get it tuned. One preferrably that has experience with the ems and aps kits.
I think the debate as to whether or not it'll hit 500+ rwhp has been addressed. It just takes someone with the desire to push that setup to it potential before we see it on these forums.
Keep in mind that if you really wanted more power, you could always augment the kit with a nitrous setup as well. Although many people seem to be leary about mixing power adders (i.e boost + NOS) in regards to these cars, it's been done countless times on other platforms...

I am looking at the APS ST kit myself. I don't see it going much higher than 20k. A shortblock build shouldn't get that high. Hell I might be wrong. This drug is expensive
Thats why not everyone is using it

Azula how do you like the ST kit?? you can pm me if you dont want to flood the thread. Thanks
