a friend told me that not all supercharger will fit the 2006 rev-up z. is this true.?? i'm new to FI and do want put on a supercharger soon which is supposedly less hassle than turbo. Which supercharger is best for 2006? can anyone help..!!! thinking of vortech, but others brands remains in the option.. jes need to know...

 

As far as I know Stillen and Vortech make the only s/c kits for the revup engines. Also I've learned that not all 06 revups have the large idler pulley above and to the left of the crank pulley (when looking from the front of the car). This a problem with the Stillen unit if you don't have it, but the Vortech does not require it. I beleive it can be added if need be.

 

what about the hks and turbonetics?

HKS is no longer sold here.

Vortech has a kit specifically for the revup engines....and is probably the best SC kit on the market in general. Stillen is too pricey and IMO the power you get can't be justified for the pricetag.

 

i still thnk the rsx-s supercharged will beat the Z..

 

my brother jes put on his supercharger for the rsx-s with kpro.. its good., das why i'm thinking of putting a supercharger on mine.. jes so he wont beat me.. we haven't race yet.. but i drove his car and it does seem to have more pull and aggression than stock z...
