What did u do and how did it turn out?
Would this be way be cheaper than say buying a bolt on kit (greddy, aps, etc)?
THanks for the help!

cheaper, yes and no. safer, i would not risk my engine unless you absolutely know what you are doing from start to finish. this is not a beginner project at all. suggestion would be to play it safe and go with something that is tested and proven to work.
Az,
I am having another one made this week. I will have a price by the end of the week. The only issue you will find with going with the tubular structure is you lose A/C. This can be fixed by running new hard line or even easier soft line.
The kit shown above with the GT42R is for sale. I haven't posted it yet as I have other parts we need to move first. The price will be inline with the APS Extreme Kit and includes quite a bit more (Adel Wiggins clamps, Radiator, Intake Manifold, etc.)

My group of friends made one for our buddies M3...but when they are offered for 5-6k why make your own...when its all said and done you going to spend about the same amount...I would only do it if it was something that wasnt offerend as a kit
